Privacy Policy

Baseline is built to be private by design. There is no account, no server, and no cloud sync. The discipline data you log stays on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice, both for the Baseline app and for this website.

The short version

Baseline has no account and no server that stores your discipline data. Everything you log lives in local storage on your device and never leaves it: we cannot see your entries. The only things that ever leave your device are optional, anonymous product analytics you can turn on or off, and, if you subscribe, an anonymous purchase token used to validate your receipt. Neither includes your entries or anything that identifies you.

Data the app stores

Your build and drain inputs, daily net scores, trend, streak, rank, and protocol progress are all saved locally on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.

What we do not collect

  • No account, email, name, or password.
  • No discipline entries, scores, or any content you log.
  • No advertising identifiers and no tracking across other apps or sites.
  • No location data.

In-app analytics

The Baseline app includes optional, anonymous product analytics powered by PostHog. It is off until you choose to turn it on: we ask once during setup, and you can change it anytime in Settings. When it is on, we receive anonymous events about which screens and features are used, for example opening the paywall or logging an input, linked only to a random, app-generated ID. We never receive your entries, your scores, your name, or anything that identifies you, and this data is never used for advertising or for tracking you across other apps or sites. When it is off, the app sends no analytics at all.

Purchases

Baseline is free to use. Baseline Pro is an optional subscription billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google: we never see or store your card or payment details. To unlock Pro on your device, your purchase is validated through the store and RevenueCat, a receipt-validation service that processes only an anonymous purchase token, never your identity.

This website

discipline-tracker.com uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand traffic in aggregate. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other sites. We see anonymized, aggregated metrics such as page views and referrers, never anything that identifies you.

Data you choose to send us

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to respond to you, and we do not use it for marketing.

Children

Baseline is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Because the app stores everything on your device, no personal data of any user reaches us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
